Gauge pod installation write up

This is just a basic way to install your gauge pod, in this write up I am installing a 3 pod gauge. Also for each gauge you install you need to have the wire diagram which I am not going to go into. First start of by taking the gauge pod and the gauges and fit them together.

Then your going to want to install brackets on the back of each gauge to insure that they dont fall out.

Then you want to go to the car and remove the a pillar on the driver side.

Mate the gauge pod with the gauges in it to the a pillar plastic that you removed, if any of the gauges hit the plastic it may need to be cut so the gauge can fit correctly. Use the supplied screws and screw covers to mate the A pillar and the gauge pod together.

Make sure that each gauge has plenty of wire on it if not get some of the same gauge wire and crimp them together so you have nice length on the wires.

Then use electric tape and gather all the wires and pull all of them through to the back of the plastic A pillar piece.

Once this is all done you can then start to install it grab a wire clothe hanger and cut a 3-4 foot piece and make sure it is straight. Tape all the wires from the end of the gauge pod on to the hanger with a small piece of tape.

The your going to take the hanger and feed it right down the side where the A pillar is.

When you start to feed it down grab a flashlight and go under the dash and look up in the corner and look for the hanger. Grab it and pull it all the way through.

Once that is pulled through then mount the pillar flush to the A frame.

The finished install should look like this.

All the wire hook ups are up to you.
