Carbon fiber hood

My hood finally came and I put it on today. Fitment is pretty good, but the washer nozzles don't fit, the holes are too small. I don't want to file it because i'm afraid i'll mess the clear coat up, anyone else have this problem or did I get a bad hood? It's a Seibon brand that I got from MVP so it's not a cheap ebay knockoff, but for the price I paid I was expecting everything to work perfectly. Also the latching is kind of hard, kind of have to push the hood back when you go to latch it.

Looks great though, i'm going to have to clean the car up and take some pics with the new hood and wheels and post a few up :D

But if anyone knows what I can do to get the nozzles to fit or if I have to buy new ones, or if I can just somehow plug them up and make it look clean that will be alright too. Thanks.

I would be real careful about filing the holes, you could crack the clear coat and then over time it would spread and be hideous.

Looking forward to some pics.

Did you get a oem style or somethin different??

I actually went to autozone and bought new nozzles. They're a little bulky and take away from the beautiful 2g lines but the majority of people won't notice unless they are really looking. They'll do for now I guess. I just got done washing the car so i'm gonna go snap some pics and i'll post them up in the coffee break if they look alright.

Didn't turn out as well as i'd have liked them to, plus I need to find somewhere better to take pics other than grandparents house so no use making a new topic I guess :P

Thanks :D Once I get my curb scrapes taken care of, reduce the wheel gap, and throw a GST axleback on i'll be satisfied with the exterior.

I had that same problem with the squirtes fitment on a VIS hood. I actually shaved the squirters down a little bit where they anchor in. Popped them right in after that and have not had a problem since.
