IMO, I wouldn't like it. If it were me I would go black on black. But it is your car and you do what you want.

Get rims first. You can't have a turbo kit and run on stock wheels, you need higher rated tires. You can get an awesome set of rims off of WheelMax for less than $600. Plus, this will give you more time to learn about turbo's and make a decision as to what you want to do.

EDIT: Turbo[ing] your Eclipse is no walk in the park, bro. You gotta start off small and learn all about your car before you jump into something of such magnitude. I've wanted to turbo my car since about July. Since then all I do is look up information on turbo's and look at flow charts, trying to decide which one will be best for my wants/needs/goals/application. Trust me on this one, start off small with an intake/exhaust/suspension/rims, THEN go turbo.

I think you should save your money. Honestly, I think it would be a waste. No, I don't think it would look good. You would have nothing to brag about anyway, you're still going to have stock wheels. What are you going to say? How awesome your stock powder coated rims look? SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING MORE USEFUL.

It will look gay. Don't do it. Stay stock while you save up.
