I hope you don't do a lot of night driving because that's straight up dangerous. You are essentially blinding the oncoming traffic, which DRASTICALLY increases your chances for a head-on collision. When the insurance companies start asking questions, and the other driver says "his lights were too bright, blinded me, etc.", they'll discover that you had a HID system in your stock housing. Bam: you lose.

You are also blinding the person in front of you. That person doesn't see the road properly and has to brake suddenly because he couldn't anticipate whatever was in front of him and you rear end him. Whose fault? Bam: you lose.

HID is a great thing; don't get me wrong. But your stock reflector housing is designed to house one thing only - a halogen bulb. Retrofitting is necessary because those projectors were DESIGNED to house the HID burners, keeping everyone around you (and yourself) safe on the road.

On another note, changing fog light bulbs are easy. I simply pop off the black plastic covers, and using my 10mm socket and extensions, I unbolt the entire fog light housing. They are held on to the frame with three bolts. When off the car, disassemble the back of the housing and replace the bulb.

I've been following this discussion and wondering if anyone can give me a step by step guide on how to do the actual retrofitting.
Thanks (:

heres a link to show you what im talking about

1G / 2G HID Projector Conversions

and i had the link where to buy the projectors i just dont have it on this computer so just google for it...

I have seen a few different write ups and im confused. If I buy ebay hid headlights will tsx projectors fit in or will I have to cut and make braces? What about the stock headlights?
