Wangan Spoiler (on my 2G GST spyder) Test fit pics - Team-2G Mitsubishi Forum

So I picked up this Wangan spoiler off ebay.

I kind of wanted something different for my Spyder but did not want to do the Turbo wing ( not a fan of that wing on spyders)

So just sharing some test fit pics. All comments/thoughts welcome.

As for what I think, I like It.

I was kind of sick of ppl looking at my car and going wow I didn't know your Eclipse was a GST.....

(DAM THAT GS WING lol)

Sorry, I am against that. It looks tacky in my opinion, and while you might not like the turbo wing or the three piece spoiler, perhaps you should just stay wingless for abit instead of punching holes in your trunk.

Not too sure what I think about it. It doesn't look bad but its really bulky.

I have to fill the holes anyway in the rear quarters and the Trunk and drill 2 new holes at eat end of the trunk..

So if I don't like it when its painted Ill just take it off and go wingless.

ya from the sides it is bulky. Will see what happens when the car is painted.

It does seem bulky(nice word to describe it Andy).
Something like that with a smaller profile I think would look nice. I like the turbo wing more though.

The turbo wing is pure sex. I can see why you may not like it on a Spyder though. However, this new wang spoiler looks like a wang. BUT, if you were to mold it into the body, I definitly think you could really pull it off.

Im not a fan of it, if you dont like the 3 peice, go wingless for sure. That looks like it doesnt belong.

Yeah, now with your new spoiler everyone will know it's a GST

..................!???........Yea. that wing totally screams "Im Boosted"....

My freind had that same problem too, people would come up and ask if his car was a GS or RS?.....he would say "GS-T", then the guys would laugh and turn to walk away...then my from would turn over the engine and watch them slowly trun around with a puzzled look of fear on the face. Then my buddy would say "yea the 95's got stiffed on the sunroof,leather seats, and spoiler".
