where do you live at? That can be a determining factor. I took mine off when i changed from 2ga to 2gb and i hate not having them being in washington all the rain i'd clean my engine bay just to drive in the rain and have it be filthy the next day im even worse off now with all the dirt roads in mn. but if it doesnt rain much where your at or not alot of dirt roads id say leave it that way

Got my pair of splash shields right from Mitsu. for $13.50 each, and no shipping.

There are apparently 3 or more styles. My spyder uses a different set than the GSX, GS or RS.

Anyhow in this case Mitsu was the cheapest, other than crappy ones from the junk yard.
