Amen. Never thought about using it on my headlight though...

Edit: Don't ever try using them to get grease of your arm though. It'll burn for weeks.

I took the old(stock) housings and soaked them in purple degreaser for about an hour and a half, then scrubbed them for like 5 minutes. they looked brand new.

mine look like someone attempted to spray clear coat or some other spray on them, they are Uber foggy and crusted/flaking on the outside, nothing i tried will get it off, aside of a razorblade but that scratches the lenses

I am putting that one to the test today. My headlights need cleaned bad and it's a pain in the butt to take them off the car to clean, so hopefully the magic eraser works.

walmart has these little "pads" that you stick in a drill...you get your headlight wet and it takes the haze and oxidation off your headlights like nothing! makes em like new!

and you revived a 3 month dead thread for this...Why?

You're talking about the buffer pads they sell that go on a drill, correct? If so, no one would ever get near my car with that thing. Too much stuff could go wrong.
