All depends on how you want your suspension to ride and how you want your car to sit.
With the right amounts of modding and cutting you could put 22's on it, but would it look good? LOL.
With 20s you'll never be able to lower it and it will ride 'not so smoothly' .... id stick with 18s or 19s

I rode in a 3g with 19's and it road like crap due to the really small tires aka rubber bands every bump was felt and the ride was awful.

Yea I'd go with a max of 18's . I'm probably just gonna go with 17's cause I'd rather have better handling and a smooth ride than it look overdone.

Yes. You can fit 20's on a 99 GST because I know someone who has done it. The ride quality isn't great and you will not be able to lower the car at all. You are better off going with 19's and getting a profit. 19's look real hot but you still need to worry about rubbing problems. Either way, 19's or 20's you are going to have to roll the fender.

You can fit 20's you can fit 19's and 18's but IMO rims that big are more for style not for a "Tuner" car. Chrome rims and large rims weigh a shit load and yes it hurts performance. My advice will be 17's with a drop.

Sure 19's will slow you down more than 17's but they will also look alot better too. A 19 inch wheel with a nice lip looks real hot on an Eclipse and I know plenty of guys that still have a fast car with them.

Not all lightweight wheels are that much money. ROTA wheels might not be forged but they are hella light. Then you can always just skip them and go for Volks
