1997 Eclipse GST

when i installed the sony cd player, the radio did not work. so i did my research and i found that i did not hook the antenna cable from the cd player to the right wire. so after i hooked the blue wire from the cd player to the white with black strip in the car, the radio works, but now the antenna does not come down when i turn off the car, or the radio. i'm just wondering if i hooked the wires correctly?
