Smile I only want one sub. Any suggestions?

I am not looking for anything to blow my eardrums. I was thinking maybe one 10" sub and amp, maybe even an 8" sub and amp. I don't really know what is good and what isn't. Also, I am not looking for the sub to take up my whole trunk because I use it to carry stuff in. Anybody with suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't really know, but I am not looking to spend more than like $400. I already have a 4-channel 700w amp with udgraded speakers and a headunit. Looking for a little more bass though.

I have a Rockford Fosgate P3 12" sub and it sounds awesome. I don't like it super loud either, so I keep the sub turned down a bit so when I turn the volume it balances well.

It hits well, too :D

yea Mary you have a good taste in subs....I think for the price the Rockford P3's are the best bang for the buck.....you can wire them down to 2 Ohms and they sound amazing....

I have a JL Audio 12inch W6. More then enough for my car. I got it super cheap along with a JL Monoblock 500 amp. It shakes the ground preaty good.

How ever I dont really blast my stereo very often since I rather hear the turbo spooling up.

The Rockford Fosgate will do it. Trust me, I had on running off a 600 amp rockford fosgate amplifier and it rattled my windows. so that will be more than enough, just turn it down to the amount of bass that you desire.

I just have a 10 in. Kenwood with ported box and a 220 Watt mono channel amp connected to the box. So it takes up little space and it hits hard with the custom box. You can get something like that for relatively cheap. If you get something too loud it'll just rattle the hell out of the car which is just unflattering and like most idiots on the road who like to try and show off their expeditions or impalas. Anyways, simple is better IMO, do it right and you'll be happy.

Kicker 12" CVT 2 ohm version) in a custom box .6 recommended (but the kicker prefab boxes are .5 with poly fill) and Kicker ZX400.1 amp, that is all you will need. The fosgate P3 are good also and in similar price range.

i dont recommend using that 4 ch amp you have to power a sub as it was designed to amp 4 speakers (or 2 if you bridged the amp). However, as far as a sub recommendation, I would recommend any of Kicker's Solo-barics as they range in size (8", 10", 12", and 15") and their ability to handle high wattage is incredible.
