amp drawing power while off

Ok, i got my car back from the mechanic. And told me my alpine amp was drawing .7 amps from my battery while the car was off. Just wanted to know if this is normal. I don't think it is, what should i check or change?

Remove your remote turn on wire and see if it still draws that kind of amperage. If it does, it's normal. If not, your remote turn on wire is somehow getting constant voltage.

7>2, so your remote wire is getting power constantly. What is it wired to?

That's the correct wiring. Try leaving the remote wire in the amp but disconnecting power to the head unit, see if that fixes it? Maybe the remote wire is picking up some power from somewhere else in the car, like coming in contact with another wire?
