Double DIN HELP!!!
I cant seem to find a double din adaptor plastic peice thing. I see a lot of single din, but I need one that a double din cd/dvd will go in.
I just bought a dvd/cd player touch screen stereo and need to find all the stuff I need to put it in. But just cant seem to find it.
Any help would be great, thanks.

You have to use the factory brackets I believe.

oh...wait..so I can just take out the single din adaptor thats in there? And I can bolt it right in.

What single din adapter are you talking about? You take out the factory head unit and the brackets that are on it take them off and put them on the aftermarket double din head unit and bolt it back on like the factory unit was.

It doesnt have a factory head unit in there. It DID have a single deck cd player in there. Here Ill show you a pic of what it looks like now.
If you look the bottom section is blocked off...so there is just space for a single din.

You have to get some factory eclipse/talon head unit brackets to make the double din fit.

I took the one from my rs and put it in the gs-t. Can't fool me. I had one like caffeine has in my old gs-t. I swear that thing was made from the cheapest plastic possible.

Ya its some kind of aftermarket single din adaptor is what i got out of it.
Im guessing the stock ones are like a metal sleeve?

Thanks a lot guys, Im lookin for one now.
Do I need some kind of plastic peice that goes over the front to make it look right too? Like some kind of stock bezel of some sort.
