antenna

i installed my deck about a month ago...now my antenna dosnt go up anymore when i wanna listen to the radio...any suggestions?

You probably forgot to connect the power antenna wire, it should be labeled on the wire.

If i could i would delete that post cuddles. 2crazy4u that is basicly the best suggestion. On the back of the deck there should be a spot for the antena plug. Since this started to happen once the deck went in i doubt its the antena motor its self. Also far far far chance but the deck could have a malfunction. Take out deck and look for big black plug.

mine had an extra wire that was wired to the radio and i had the same problem. Just take the deck out and look for an extra wire.

i just fixed it...it turns out that my wire to the antenna was cut into two. i didnt see it the first time i instaled it because it had no label..so i jus connected loose wire's together and i eventually got it to work :D

To all those looking on...

The power antenna wire in aftermarket applications is usually blue/white. (blue with white stripe.
