As i'm aware some of you own 3g's or are just 3g owners that wondered on to a 2g site, i'd like to let you kno what in my experience i've found to be the best information.

For starters, i'm Elchicoloco86 on www.Automotiveforums.com, in the Eclipse 2000+ section i had posted a full list of suggestions, links and practically all the basic answers anyone can have about a 3g and it has helped many people based on the number of views on it. it is called "The Comprehensive Guide To Owning a 3G" and it is stickied at the top. For the record if you post in the incorrect eclipse forum at that site, you will be flamed and flamed badly as the "dsm" guys at that site are kinda anal about being separate and find it offensive if 3g guys ask questions.

As well I find that www.club3g.com is a good site to find info and answer questions you may have since the supercharged and turbocharged crowd is nearly even. As you may be aware searching is never a bad idea on that site as noobs are regularly flamed for asking questions that have been over-asked.
i've never seen anyone be banned and i frequent that site often. It is a enthusiast oriented site and there is no specific "owner" or business that prospers from the site, making it fairly unbiased.

i've had bad experiences with this site and find the information given to be biased and the moderators somewhat anal about what they will allow in their forums. nonetheless its a good site for noobs to get their bearings in the automotive world, but keep in mind that where it may have been the "original" club3g it was bought out by a business and that business's products are introduced wherever they find it might help them and bad reviews against the business are deleted and those members banned.
again i'm not saying the site was banned, i'm just saying that you will grow out of that site.
for the record though, they banned me for referencing the www.club3g.com site and asking why they disabled some of my priveledges.

it is common courtesy on that site to not mention
www.club3g.com as it is censored, or working your way around that censorship
tearstone or tearstone products
any former members or their current whearabouts since it may arise animosity
CMF in a bad way
CMF's products in a bad way
or raising any "hell" whatsoever as it will result in being banned...

i'm not saying CMF is a bad company however i would not recommend business to it 8)

I do frequent this site now b/c i feel it may help some of you and feel free to ask questions and if its something i don't kno i'll help you find the right answers, cuz i'm a nice guy, just not in the morning :D
